Started operations in 2000 at Pazhayangadi , Kannur, Kerala, by Mr. Roopesh K. Vengara, a well known Industrialist and Educationalist, Institute of Accounts and Tax Training has evolved into a professionally managed Premier Vocational Educational Institution. We have been imparting various Practical Accounting courses to the Commerce Stream students of various colleges across Kerala for the last 24 years. We impart practical training to those aspirants who wish to pursue a career of their own as Tax Practitioner or as a Professional Accountant.
Even though there are thousands of Commerce Graduates and Post-Graduates in Kerala seeking various jobs, there is an acute dearth of well experienced Accountants and Tax professionals, who got professional practical knowledge of all tax related rules, acts, e-Filings with expertise in Practical Accounting and finalization techniques. Our aim is to groom a well experienced Commerce stream students who are well trained in handling all Tax related matters such as Tax Accounting, Computations, and
e-Filing of various Tax Returns such as GST, Income Tax, Service Tax, and other relevant subjects like ESI, PF and local administration taxes. Our vision is to implement this as “Add-On” course in almost all colleges prevailing in Kerala, during the span of 2-3 years. As per the new Education Policy implemented by Central Government and updated by relevant State Governments, it is imperative for the students to undergo Training and Internship with various companies in order that the students attain practical Industry exposure, thus be well resourced to function like experts and well experienced professionals. We have designed an Internship and Training Programme and lot of students are already enjoying the fruits of this unique Programme. Those who undergone this course are being campus placed by various companies in Infopark Kochi, and Techno Park in Trivandrum with whom we do maintain long standing cordial business relations.
After implementation of Goods and Services Tax in India since 2017, there is actually a shortage of highly experienced professionals who could handle all GST & other allied Tax matters. Ours is a sincere but strong and transparent effort to groom an array of well qualified and experienced professionals who could function as highly competent Tax professionals, thus adding value to the functioning of various organizations of different Industries. Moreover, we project ourselves as an extended arm of different colleges by imparting various Internship and Training Programmes and job oriented Add-on Courses, to requisite students and help them find suitable placements. By grooming professionally qualified, well experienced Tax Practitioners into this Industry, we will be able to bring down the scarcity of well qualified and experienced Tax Practitioners and Professionals. Finance and Accounts stream is the most sought after one in Degree and Post-Graduate curriculums and thus more students do join these Programmes every year.
By encouraging them to undergo various job oriented courses (such as DPAT & Tally with GST and our unique Internship Training Programme), and Diploma in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, they stand more competitive in the employment market by possessing sharp skills, acquiring updated industry exposure as well. Nevertheless, sophisticated and updated knowledge and practical experience related to all Tax Laws and rules related to GST, Income Tax, Service Tax, ESI, PF etc. add great value to these candidates who are none lesser than well experienced professionals already associating with various Industries. Our mission is to groom a young generation of Commerce Stream students who will be able to get fast employment such as Professional Accountants, and other Financial Wizards or will be able to take up self-employment assignments such as Tax Practitioners or Tax Consultants.
Our Management and Operation Team is spearheaded by Mr. Roopesh K. Vengara, (Managing Director) a noted Industrialist and Educationalist,, Mr. K. Radhakrishnan, (General Manager) a highly experienced Management and Administration Professional, and Mrs. M.P. Sheeja (Managing Partner) who is a highly experienced and skilled Fashion Designer. We do maintain a vibrant team of experts as our FACULTIES, who consist of Chartered Accountants, Tax Practitioners, Retired Sales Tax and Income Tax Professionals, Practicing Lawyers etc. We have conducted several seminars on Tax matters and Placement drives. We do maintain a fully furnished Corporate Office measuring around 2900 sq.ft area in Pazhayangadi, Kannur, Kerala with 4 Class-rooms and a fully furnished Computer Laboratory for practical class-room and training. For practical Class-room training, each student is provided with a Desktop or Laptop as the case may be.
